Red Velvet is here at last

After a few attempts, I have finally managed to produce a red velvet recipe that will have you coming back for more again and again. Red velvet cake, made famous worldwide by the show Sex in the City, is a rich chocolate cake dark red in colour. My cupcakes are topped with a fluffy cream cheese topping and are quite delicious(even if I do say so myself). Hopefully these will go well and I will update the blog with any news. In addition to this I also tried out peanut butter and chocolate and this has been received with some really good feedback. If anyone has any sggestions for a new flavour, get in touch and I will see what I can do.

My next project is to find a good recipe for Red Velvet cake. I will keep you all updated on how thats going. That also means another bumper cake supply for the Butchers of Forfar who are my official testers.

A Blog At Last

I have finally decided to start a blog, I'm not quite upto Twitter standards just yet but at least I can keep you all updated on whats happening in the land of cakes. After a much needed quiet month things are picking up speed once more. The new Christmas cakes are now posted and are causing quite a crowd in Forfar. Jimmy has been displaying a cake for his customers at Kennedys in Castle Street and will rotate the three different designs over the next couple of weeks, pop in if you are passing.
